Twelfth will reopen to cars this week, I liked it like this better, the open road. It made things so much more peaceful. Oh well at least people won't cut around using Maddams anymore. Posted by Picasa

This is a postcard of Beacon Hill Park in Victoria. Note the typo at the bottom. Due to the typo there was a box of 500 at a Commercial Antique store. I bought ten and a shoe shine kit. My shoes are shiny and so far only my Grandma has received the postcard. I don't think she got the joke though.

I had originally planned to go to this show but ended up leaving for Tofino that day instead. I thought I'd be a great guy and return the ticket to the Jazz Fest office so some other volunteer could use it. I handed a ticket to the cute girl at the Jazz Fest office that takes care of these things. She thanked me and said I was very nice. I felt awesome! Then I got home and realized I had given her a useless ticket from two days before and left the ticket for that night at home. I hope Arturo doesn't find out! Posted by Picasa
On the way to Tofino I stayed over at a friends farm near Nanaimo. Such a peacefull country home, until that is I was woken by my fellow traveller and convinced to go for a run at 6:30 in the morning. Of course I went, it was a great idea! Posted by Picasa
I'm not sure why my camera was on B&W it makes the sunny Tofino beach look like the gloomy British isles. Posted by Picasa
Went to Tofino on the weekend to surf and generally have a nice time. The weather turned out to be awesome! Is there anythign better than being in a place where all the cars have surf boards on top (mine is the red one). I rented a short board this time and it ruled. If only Tofino wasn't so far away. Posted by Picasa
